Terms of service.

// ACCEPTANCE

Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Tidy Neighbor 2.0 LLC (“Tidy Neighbor,” “we,” or “us”) in Fort Wayne, Indiana. By booking a service, creating an account, or using this website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

// SERVICES

Services we provide

We provide residential home services in and around Fort Wayne, Indiana, including lawn care, landscaping, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, snow and salt removal, house cleaning, vehicle detailing, holiday light installation, laundry pickup, grocery delivery, and seasonal service packages. Specific scope, schedule, and pricing are described on the relevant service page or in the quote you accept.

Some jobs are performed by Tidy Neighbor crews and some by vetted subcontractors. In both cases Tidy Neighbor is the party you contract with and is responsible for service quality under these Terms.

// PRICING

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are generated based on information you provide (address, photos, property details) and satellite or AI measurement. We make reasonable efforts to be accurate, but final pricing may differ if on-site conditions are materially different from what was represented. If a price change is required, we will contact you for approval before starting work — you can cancel at no charge at that point.

Prices do not include sales tax where applicable. All prices are quoted in US dollars.

// PAYMENT

Booking, payment, and refunds

  • Most single-visit jobs and seasonal packages are prepaid at the time of booking via Square.
  • We accept major credit and debit cards. You authorize Tidy Neighbor to charge the payment method on file for the services you book and any approved additions.
  • Refunds for services not yet performed are processed within 5-10 business days. Seasonal packages are refunded pro-rated for unused visits, minus a $25 administrative fee.
  • Declined payments that are not resolved within 7 days may result in pausing your service and assignment of the debt to a collections partner.

// SCHEDULING

Scheduling, weather, and cancellation

  • We will make reasonable efforts to arrive during the scheduled window. For outdoor services, weather may force rescheduling — we will contact you with a new time at no extra charge.
  • You can cancel or reschedule a single-visit booking up to 24 hours in advance at no charge. Cancellations inside 24 hours may forfeit up to 50% of the service fee to cover crew scheduling.
  • Emergency snow events may be delayed in severe storms. We prioritize season-pass customers first.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service on any property where we reasonably believe conditions are unsafe for our crew or subcontractors.

// GUARANTEE

Satisfaction guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a completed job, notify us within 24 hours of service and we will return to correct the issue at no additional charge. The guarantee covers the originally contracted scope. Additional work outside the original scope may be quoted separately.

// ACCESS

Property access and responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide safe, clear access to the service area on the scheduled date.
  • Disclose relevant conditions — buried utilities, fragile surfaces, pets, sprinkler heads, allergies.
  • Remove valuables, fragile items, and pet waste from the work area.
  • Have lawful authority to authorize work on the property.

We are not responsible for damage caused by undisclosed hazards, including buried utility lines not marked through Indiana 811.

// LIABILITY

Damage and liability

Services are performed by independent subcontractors. Where a subcontractor carries commercial general liability insurance, any damage claim is handled under their policy. Tidy Neighbor 2.0 LLC facilitates the booking; it does not itself provide insurance coverage for the work performed. If Tidy Neighbor or a subcontractor causes direct damage to your property through negligence during service, notify us within 48 hours with photos and we will coordinate with the performing subcontractor to investigate and, where appropriate, repair or compensate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tidy Neighbor's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of use.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, bodily injury, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

// PROHIBITED

Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose.
  • Book services using false or stolen payment information.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the security of our systems.
  • Send automated traffic to the AI quote agent to extract pricing.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten our crew or subcontractors.

// IP

Intellectual property

The Tidy Neighbor name, logo, website content, and software are owned by Tidy Neighbor 2.0 LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our content without written permission. Photos you upload remain yours; you grant us a non-exclusive license to use them to generate your estimate and, if you opt in, as before/after marketing examples.

// REVIEWS

Reviews and testimonials

Reviews submitted through our review link may be published on our website or marketing materials, with your first name and last initial. You can withdraw consent for a public review at any time by contacting us.

// PRIVACY

Privacy

Your use of the site and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it.

// DISPUTES

Dispute resolution

We want to resolve problems quickly. If you have a concern, contact [email protected] first and we will work in good faith to resolve it.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may file suit in the state or federal courts located in Allen County, Indiana, which the parties consent to as the exclusive venue. These Terms and any related dispute are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

// CHANGES

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced by email to active customers or via notice on the website. Continued use of our services after changes become effective indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

// SEVERABILITY

Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any quote or order you accept, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tidy Neighbor regarding the services.
