// OVERVIEW

Overview

Tidy Neighbor 2.0 LLC (“Tidy Neighbor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at tidyneighbor2-0.com and provides home services in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

By using our website or booking a service with us, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

// DATA WE COLLECT

Information we collect

We collect only the information we need to provide service:

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number.
  • Service address: the property where work will be done, used for satellite measurement, scheduling, and directions.
  • Photos you upload (yards, rooms, vehicles, laundry bags, grocery lists) to generate a quote.
  • Booking history and preferences: services purchased, frequency, special instructions, reviews.
  • Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number or CVV — Stripe returns a token that we keep.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed. Used for security, analytics, and fraud prevention.
  • Cookies: first-party session cookies for login and lead tracking, and minimal analytics cookies described below.

// HOW WE USE IT

How we use your information

  • Provide, schedule, and complete the services you book.
  • Generate accurate quotes — including satellite measurement via Google Maps and AI-powered photo analysis via Google Gemini.
  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and service updates.
  • Respond to questions, complaints, and review requests.
  • Process payments and issue refunds when applicable.
  • Send marketing emails only to customers who have opted in.
  • Improve our services, website, and customer support.
  • Meet legal and tax obligations.

// VENDORS

Third-party services we rely on

We use the following vendors to run the business. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives card data directly; we never see it.
  • Supabase — database and authentication. Customer records, bookings, and quotes are stored on Supabase infrastructure in the United States.
  • Google Maps Platform — address autocomplete, geocoding, and satellite imagery for lawn measurement.
  • Google Gemini API — AI chat and photo analysis. Photos and chat messages are sent to Google's API for processing. Google does not use this data to train its models when accessed through the paid API.
  • Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery.
  • Vercel — website hosting. Vercel processes request logs for performance and security.
  • Cloudflare — DNS and DDoS protection. Cloudflare sees IP-level request metadata.

// SHARING

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We share data only when necessary:

  • With the vendors listed above, strictly to provide our services.
  • With the subcontractor assigned to your job — limited to name, address, phone, scope of work, and any access notes.
  • When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Tidy Neighbor, our customers, or the public.
  • In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, sale of assets), subject to this privacy policy carrying over.

// COOKIES

Cookies and tracking

We use first-party cookies for login sessions, the admin dashboard, and lead capture. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, we do not sell data to advertisers, and we honor the “Do Not Track” browser signal by disabling optional analytics when it is set. You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings — some features (like staying logged in) will stop working if you do.

// RETENTION

Data retention

  • Booking and customer records: kept 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Uploaded photos: kept for the duration of your customer relationship plus 1 year. You can request earlier deletion.
  • Chat logs: kept 90 days for support quality, then deleted.
  • Marketing email list: kept until you unsubscribe, then removed within 30 days.

// CHILDREN

Children's privacy

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

// SECURITY

Security

We use industry-standard technical and administrative safeguards — TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest via Supabase, hashed passwords, rate limiting, and access controls on the admin dashboard. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will notify you promptly, as required by applicable law.
